The History of Hanahoe’s Childcare.
We are a small family run business that have been dedicated to supporting the growth of children since 1979. For over 40 years we have been building the most incredible community of parents, children, staff in the area. The relationships formed at Hanahoe’s go far beyond the time Children spend in our care. We still have contact with many of the Hanahoe’s childcare alumni. In fact, many of them now have children of their own currently attending our school.
Sensory play is a key part of our curriculum.
Sensory play focuses on activities that engage your child’s senses, helping them develop language skills and motor skills. it also helps with cognitive growth, fosters social interactions and encourages experimentation.
Services & Facilities
Based in the heart of Killiney, Co. Dublin, our homely premises caters for up to 20 children between the ages of 2 and 5. We have two classrooms which offer as the perfect space to enable our play based curriculum along with an outdoor play area and garden. Our location also provides us with a large enclosed park directly opposite our premises which serves as an amazing asset for our mini explorers. With our highly trained and qualified staff along with our healthy teacher to child ratio’s, Hanahoe’s offers a truly attentive and individualised care for every child attending our service.
